Logo Guidelines

  • Adobe illustrator is the preferred method of sending you logo file. This format is more suitable for large format printing. All of the artwork must be translated into a vector file. If sending Adobe Illustrator artwork, please make sure all fonts are converted to outlines and files are saved as either a PSD, EPS, SVG or AI file.
  • If you do not have an Adobe Illustrator file, we will accept a j-peg image. The first hour of artwork is free to convert the file into a vector format. If the logo is not complex an hour is all it should take. Over the one hour, you will be charged $50/hour for the graphic artist's time. You can send us the image first and we can determine ahead of time if we feel it will take over an hour to convert. Having said that, always reach out to the parents within your community, there may be someone who has the software or is in the industry and who would donate their time to convert your file.
  • And finally to make life a little easier, we have a file of mascots that you may choose to represent your school. Simply find your mascot and attach to the registration file
  • Note – you will be required to sign off on all final products of logos before it goes to print to ensure you are 100% satisfied
  • So again, on the registration form once you have chosen your program for participation, simply attached your photo or select one of our Mascots and start RAISING SPIRIT IN YOUR SCHOOL!

Copyright & Trademarks

  • By submitting a design to Raising Spirit, or using logos stored on this site, you warrant and represent that you are the sole, legal owner of all rights, including copyright, to each copyright, trademark, service mark, trade name logo, statement, portrait, graphic, artwork, photograph, picture or illustration of any person or any other intellectual property included in such design.
  • Further you warrant and represent that no part of the design:
    (a) Violates or infringes upon any common law or trademarks, contract rights, moral rights, or rights of public performance.
    (b) Is subject of any notice of such infringement you have received.
    (c) Is subject to any restriction or right of any kind or nature whatsoever which would prevent Kustom Imprints from legally reproducing the images or text submitted.
  • You agree to defend, at your sole expense, any claim, suit, or proceeding brought against Raising Spirit which relates to, or is based upon, a claim that any portion of the design infringes or constitutes wrongful use of any copyright, trademark, or other right of any third party, provided Raising Spirit gives you written notice of any such claim and provides you such reasonable cooperation and assistance as you may require in the defence thereof. You shall pay any damages and costs assessed against Raising Spirit pursuant to such a suit or proceeding. Further, you agree to indemnify and hold Raising Spirit harmless from and with respect to any such loss or damage (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney fees and costs) associated with any such claim, suit of proceeding.
  • All items shown on this web site containing corporate logos or registered trademarks are shown to illustrate Raising Spirit's logo representation capabilities. Purchase of merchandise from Raising Spirit in no way, shape or form grants you permission to reproduce logos, nor does it transfer, grant or lease ownership of any logos or trademarks to you.

Embroidery

  • All prices on sample store are based on embroidery or screen printing.
  • If you have ever had a school clothing campaign drive before with embroidery then you already have what we need. When you initially begin an embroidery tape has to made for your logo. This is a tape that you own and you can easily get from your current supplier if you choose to work with us.
  • If you do not have an embroidery tape, simply upload your logo as per the logo guidelines information. We will then create an embroidery tape for your school at a cost of $100. You will own this disk and it can be utilized forever on any future printing. We give this back to you!
  • Generally, embroidery on all Sweats/Polo Shirts/ is in the position of top left chest . Pants generally embroidered on left leg

Screen Printing

  • All prices on sample store are based on 2 colour logo screen printing. For each additional colour the shirt price will go up by $1.00 i.e. 2 colour t-shirt is $15 and 3 colour t-shirt is $16. It is more cost efficient to keep your colours down to 2 and most schools only have 2 colours.
  • Some items will be indicated that we need a minimum order. i.e. Stainless steel water bottles 50 quantity. If insufficient orders are generated , we would automatically cancel the order or consult with you to figure out the difference
  • You have an option to determine where you want your screen printed logo positioned on your garments. You have a choice of one location per item. i.e. T-shirts – all have to be on either the front, back, or side.

Other Policies

  • Parents will be invited to your personalized online store via your printable letter for hand-out that you will receive once you have confirmed your program.
  • Parents will pay for all items via Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal at our online fully encrypted secure store. No personal information or credit card information is kept on this site.
  • At time of delivery, your school will receive a cheque back based on $1 per item purchased.
  • All orders will be delivered direct to your store 2-3 weeks following the end of the school's determined month long campaign window. All orders will be labelled specifically for the student/teacher, etc
  • If a parent elects to cancel their order, and the order has been placed to purchase wholesale blank goods but before they have been embellished then the parent will be charged a 15% restocking fee. The restocking fee represents our real costs to return the blank items back to the wholesaler.
  • An order can not be cancelled once the goods have had any part embellished on the item.
  • It is important for parents to utilize the sizing chart on the website as we will not be able to take any returns back for incorrect sizes purchased. Upon checkout parents will be asked to "check" if they have consulted the sizing chart.
  • we have the right to back order items due to unforeseen manufacture shortages and we will aim to supply as soon as the item becomes available.
  • if an item does arrive with a manufacture defect, you must email us directly within 24 hours of receipt in order for us to replace your same item. We will do our best to supply as soon as available. No substitutions can be made. No refund can be made. Any orders that are placed after the campaign has closed will not be processed.
  • If you require an embroidery tape, you will be invoiced for $100 + HST which we will set up an invoice on our site so that you may pay using Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal. This must be paid prior to orders being placed. Ie. Campaign window is Oct 1st- 31st.
  • Raise A-Thon program – note all payments made by the donor to a participant in a registered ‘a-thon’ program is subject to a 6% fee. This fee covers the acceptance of credit cards. See complete terms here.
